Interested in becoming a volunteer? We’ll be glad to have you!! There are a number of opportunities for you to participate in and be a part of our celebration. As a volunteer, you’ll get to experience this event from within- network, relationship build and help us in bringing recognition to the greatness of Houston’s hidden southern community, that which is Sunnyside, Texas- whose slogan is “Sunnyside Pride.” Plus, the benefits that you get an opportunity of receiving are limitless!!
What you must know
Here are a few things to note before signing up. You must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Register by Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019.
- Be available for your shift assignment on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019.
- Make your own transportation arrangements to and from the site.
Orientation sessions
Orientation sessions for volunteers will be conducted at a designated location and at specific times. We’ll notify you of the dates and times after we approve your application.
